still waiting

I am 30, my husband 44. I have a step kid who is 7. We have been trying to conceive for 13 months. The 3rd month of the 13, I had a blighted ovum at 6 weeks. I was devastated but hopeful that it would happen again soon after that. 10 months after - still nothing. Went to the OB/GYN, and she seemed to think that our timing was off. I ovulated this month and really thought it was going to be our month. Nope. It does not get easier. Any advice?

Me 27 and he 40. No children previously for either of us. We have now been trying for more than 15 mo. He has been tested, all is "go" and my cycle is pretty regular. Of the 5 girls in my life TTC this year, three are preg. It's hard. It's such a let down every month.
