Progesterone and Fertility

by Tracey
(Canada)

Hi. My husband and I have been TTC for over two years. I have had the dye test (normal), laporoscopy (some endo-cauterized), acupuncture, Clomid, two unsuccessful rounds of IUI, had a small uterine polyp removed... and still no success. We are looking into IVF but want to try a few more cheaper alternatives before we do that. I have heard that progesterone can help - My luteal phases are sometimes a little short. Is it worth a try???

Worth A Try NEW
by: Sally

Yes, progesterone is definitely worth a try since you have a shortened luteal phase. Just remember to continue on it into your pregnancy. It's best to be monitored by a physician if possible.
