Pregnant at 39

I am currently pregnant with my first child. I am about 5 weeks pregnant at this time. I am hoping all goes well, and I am fully aware of the risks.

My great great grandmother had a child in 1916 at the age of 49. Her daughter who is my great great Aunt Millie is still alive and doing well at 93 years of age.

It did not take me long to get pregnant. I decided to get pregnant in July and I did!! I hope that the luck does not end there. I am just doing the best I can to take care of myself and to be prepared with whatever God decides to do. I am going to the doctor for the first time today.
