Pregnancy Following Miscarriage

In February 2008, I took a home pregnancy test, which was positive. The doctor confirmed it the next week. But by the end of the week, I had a miscarriage.

I was devestated. I was 31 at the time, and it was my first pregnancy. My husband and I thought I couldn't get pregnant prior to this because of trying and no positive test. I was depressed, heartbroken (oh my goodness!!!!)

Well, two months later I missed my period by a day and went to the doc and got a positive pregnancy test. Yea!!!! I was so scared and frightened.

They stated I was 6-7 weeks along. It was a hard pregnancy, because I was terrified of loss the whole time. I would call the doctor at any sign of abnormality, spotting etc. They knew me well!!!! But that's their job.

On December 3, 2008, I had my princess - Miss Kaylah Elizabeth. She is 14 months old now - beautiful, funny, and vibrant - my greatest blessing.

So never give up!
