Positive pregnancy at 42

My husband (49) and I have been trying for a year for our second child. We conceived our first naturally and were on our 3rd cycle of Clomid for this one.

The first 2 cycles of Clomid we did IUI, and then had the die in the uterus test. But for the 3rd cycle, we were traveling, so did it the old fashioned way.

Perhaps it was the work-ups, perhaps the Clomid. The lack of stress was also nice and probably helped too.

The main point I want to share, though, was that I was being aggressively treated for vitamin D deficiency. My levels went from 19 (20 is deficient) to 50 over the course of the 3 months of fertility treatment. Vitamin D deficiency is widespread, so please, ladies, get that checked. It can play a role.
