How frequently to have sexual intercourse around the time leading up to ovulation depends on the husband's sperm count.

If your husband has a normal sperm count, then it really doesn't matter. If your husband has a low sperm count, it's better for him to "save up" for at least a day in between, possibly two days.

With all things normal, it's usually sufficient to have intercourse every other day leading up to ovulation. The "super sperm" - the most healthy and thriving ones - are the ones to reach the egg first anyway, and they can survive for several days under optimal conditions.
