Exercise In Early Pregnancy

by Sonu
(Boston)

I have been trying to conceive for last 3 months. I'm 30 years old. I am not very worried, but I'm getting a little concerned about it.

I do not smoke, do not drink alcohol. I do regular exercise and try to eat healthy. My periods are very regular, and my cycle length is 26/27 days. We try to have sex back counting 14 days from the coming periods.

I have recently joined a strength training health course, where they do a lot of jumping and exercise with weights. I am not sure if it matters in the very early phase of your pregnancy, as I will not be knowing about it for at least 30 days. Please help me if my concept is not right with this matter.

Thanks a lot!

Check with Doctor

Very strenuous exercise could affect your fertility and possibly cause miscarriage. If you are in doubt whether this exercise you're doing is very strenuous, please check with your doctor.

In my opinion, normal aerobic exercise should be no problem. If you are pushing yourself past your limit and working out for long periods of time, however, it could affect your fertility.
