Cervical Mucus Ovulation

by Myra
(Philippines)

I am 36 years old. I already have 3 beautiful children. I used to get pregnant pretty fast before, but now my husband and I want to have another baby and I find it hard to get pregnant again. I tried checking my cervical mucus, but I am afraid because it seems that I am not producing any. What should I do?

Can Take Longer Over 35
by: Sally

Getting pregnant can take longer for women over 35, but it's definitely possible. I conceived at ages 39 and 41, bringing forth two health baby boys at full term.

Fertile cervical mucus production is pretty important for conception, but there are several things you can do to improve your CM.

Drinking lots of water around ovulation helps as well as cutting back on caffeine or stopping altogether.

Fertile CM is a great supplement to help improve and increase cervical fluid as well as evening primrose oil.

(You can read more about improving cervical mucus here.)
